昨日(きのう)は、夏(なつ)の様(よう)な天気(てんき)でしたが、 今日(きょう)は、ちょっと肌寒(はだざむ)いです。 It was like a Summer weather yesterday, but it is little chilly today. 言葉(ことば)で、表現(ひょうげん)するって難(むずか)しいですよね。 Isn't it difficult to express with words? ニューヨークで生活(せいかつ)していて、英語(えいご)を使(つか)いますが、 もちろんネイティブではないので、誤(あやま)った文法や、聞(き)き取(と)りづらい発音(はつおん)で話(はな)す事(こと)も多々(たた)あります。 While I spend time in New York, obviously I use English here, but since I am not a native English speaker, I often use wrong grammars or pronounce wrong way. そこで、色(いろ)んな悔(くや)しい思(おも)いをしてきました。 So, I have been through a lot of frustrations. 悔(くや)しい思(おも)いというのは、 私(わたし)がその時(とき)、その場所(ばしょ)で「表現(ひょうげん)したい自分(じぶん)」を、適切(てきせつ)に表(あらわ)せなかった、悔(くや)しい思(おも)いです。 What I meant with 'frustrations' is that; the frustrations where I was not able to express appropriately 'whom I want to present', at the moment, at that place. 「毎日(まいにち)、言葉(ことば)を気(き)を付(つ)けて選(えら)んでも適切(てきせつ)な表現(ひょうげん)を使(つか)えていないのかも・・・ だから、ここでこんなに見下(みくだ)されたり、無視(むし)されたりするのかもしれない。 私(わたし)はそんな人(ひと)じゃないはずなのに!」 "Even how much I carefully choose the expressions to use everyday, maybe I am not able to choose the appropriate ones by my own...." "That could be one of the reasons why people do not treat me in a way I would expect... I am not the person who people think I am made up by how I speak!" These things were sticking to my mind and circling around. 「自分(じぶん)の個性(こせい)をそのままに、この英語(えいご)というツールを学(まな)びたい! 教(おし)えてくれる人(ひと)はいないのだろうか!?」 と、思(おも)ったのが、このパフォーミングジャパニーズの原動力(げんどうりょく)です。 "I want to learn this tool- English- with keeping my character/ myself ! Is there anyone who can teach that way?" It is the motivation for me to do Performing Japanese. あなたが表現(ひょうげん)したい、自分(じぶん)のままに、 日本語(にほんご)で自分(じぶん)らしさを表現(ひょうげん)する。 Whoever you want to express, Express yourself, in Japanese. これが大事(だいじ)です!一番(いちばん)、大切(たいせつ)にして日本語(にほんご)を学(まな)んで欲(ほ)しいです。 This is the most important. Hope you value this and keep learning Japanese! 私(わたし)も、まだまだ英語(えいご)は発展途上中(はってんとじょう中)。 My English is still at developing stage. でも、自分(じぶん)の言葉(ことば)は選(えら)ぶことが出来(でき)る!例(たと)え、外国語(がいこくご)でも。 But we can choose our own words! Event it's in a foreign language. 同(おな)じ様(よう)な思(おも)いをしている学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)の人(ひと)、表現者(ひょうげんしゃ)の人(ひと)の力(ちから)になるべく始(はじ)めたのがこのパフォーミングジャパニーズです。 So to become a help for those who are being through the same feeling, I have started this Performing Japanese.
