前回(ぜんかい)の記事(きじ)では、友人(ゆうじん)の誘(さそ)い方(かた)についてでした。 The last blog was about the phrases when you invite your friends. 今日(きょう)は、お友達(ともだち)に会(あ)った時(とき)の挨拶(あいさつ)について! Today, it is about when you meetup the friends. ★元気(げんき)? genki? how are you? / what's up? *Literary, it means are you fine? If you say the end of き longer, it makes much more cheerful sounds. Like genkiiiii? (It gets higher pitch toward the end) ★久(ひさ)しぶり hisashuburi It's been a while ★最近(さいきん)、どうしてた*? saikin, doshite ta? How have you been lately? *This is better to say in the past tense, since you are actually meeting the friend. If you are not with the friend and asking in text or phone, it is the present tense. Which is どうしてる? ★変わってないね! kawatte naine You haven't changed You may want to add きれいだね/kirei dane (you are cute / pretty), 元気そうだね/genki so dane (you look fine!) after. Curtains up! Have a lovely Performance ! 開演かいえん です!素敵すてき なパフォーマンスを! → NEXT 'Performing Japanese Workshop' in July 29th!! → Japanese Online Lesson Information
